Funding Schemes

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI) announces that it intends to participate, for the 3^rd consecutive year, with a national pavilion, in the forthcoming “GITEX” Information Technology Exhibition which will take place in Dubai, UAE, from 14 to 18 October, 2024.

MECI’s participation in the exhibition aims to contribute to the strengthening of the extroversion of Cypriot services companies and the promotion of   technology sector, thus increasing export potential both within the existing and new markets.

Within this framework, MECI issues the “De Minimis grand scheme to Cypriot companies for participating in services exhibitions abroad, in which MECI participates with a national pavilion”.

Participants in the national pavilion will have the opportunity to promote their technologies, as well as to utilize the networking and business cooperation opportunities offered with both foreign exhibitors and professional visitors.

The Application and the Guide are provided below. Applications may be submitted by hand, by registered mail or by private courier until 10/01/2024.

Applications submitted after 10/01/2024 will not be taken into account.

It is noted that in the case of non-participation of a sufficient number of enterprises in the Exhibition mentioned above, and/or non-approval of the budget, the Ministry reserves the right not to participate in the Exhibition.
